Well i agree he shouldnt be working in an all girls school but id rather be taught by him by than nuns, its used to be a convent school... thank god they got nuns dont work there anymore or i would be in BIG trouble lol |

mixed... none of my friends are religious but there are some girls that are like forced into it... and i guess some that actually are genuinely religious.
The bible contradicts itself on like every page... they don't like you pointing that out because they think the bibel is like law lol... so that annoys them
Thry obviously are really strict on uniform, so wearing it wrong annoys them
Personalising your books adn stuff annoys them... especially when its like covered with lyrics from songs and pictures of bands and friends and stuff...
Skipping lessons annoys them loads :)
Proving everything they say wrong, and giving them a scientifical explination about weverything the bible says,
Mucking about in mass...im good at that :)
And going into the library and asking for books on whitches and satanism... i actually got a detention for that :(

i agree with B12 just because a band is talneted doesnt mean there good...
thats like saying if your talented at making bombs your a good person... ok that wasnt a very good example it doesnt make much sense at all but it kinda gets the message across... i think and if not ignore it,
in my opinion some bands over do it with teh whole guitairs and stuff... MCRs songs are catchy and certainly not overdone... some songs have so many stupid solos that there impossible to remember and even thought the guitarists and singers or whatever else are talented at what they do there not always talented at writing songs... like i said before xD |

well Im baptised catholic, but im not really religous at all... my parents are catholic but they've never pushed religion on me... its not really a big thing in their lives either, its just they wanted me to be catholic i guess...
NO WAY!!! god i would be in councilling for like the remainder of my time at school if i showed something like that in school... i did use the lyrics to 'cemetery drive' before for something we were doing in english... i think they would have like told me off but i explained my views on thew song really well aparantly and so i got away with it lol... sometimes i just do stuff to annoy them, i know its immature and stuff but its so fun winding them up xD |

I wrote about some girl not liking their life... cliche i know... but i dont lik eoutting effort in at school so it was an easy thing to write... anyway i thought it was quite good... it rhymed and everything... but because she ended up killing herself it aparantly wasnt an apropriate thing to write...

my school in one word SUCKS!!!!!... its all girls and they dont like anyone being different... meaning no make up, no jewlerry of any kind... you cant personalise your books or anything... i say cant i mean shouldnt...no hair die or anything like that, minimum piercings... its so stupid that i got sent out of an english lesson for writing an inapropriate poem... so yeah getting expelled not such a bad idea :P |

I'll start by saying how much i adore... i disagree with B12 by saying apart from the lyrics its some of their worst work... i personally think this is one of their best songs with or without lyrics, the melody is great! and the lyrics are just beautiful wich makes the song even better...
I think people are taking this whole dawn of the dead thing too literally... MCR are heavily influenced by Movies and comics and stuff but i dont think this song is about th exact dawn of teh dead situation i think they saw the film and it inspired them so they wrote a song putting themselves in the situation...otherwise as B12 said gerard wouldnt be crying about a couple of kida from the film... this song is alot deeper than a horror film.
Oh and also just because gerard said it was about teh film doesnt mean it is about the film... again like B12 said he gives so many meanings for songs... he doesnt give it away that easily |

I dont really like this version, i definetly prefer the one on 'three cheers'... the lyrics dont fit to the music and they dont work as well as the others

Yeah i was wandering why people were saying it was a cover, its definetly not but now we've cleared that up...
I completely agree with demolitionxlover, at first i thought it could just be about any guy missing a girl but i totally love the idea about it being a sequal to demolition lovers it makes so much sense and i agree totally that the whole from the earth to teh morgue bit is about him being drunk.
Great song i find the beginning kinda htpnotic and a bit creepy it gives me the chills as a few other people have said...amazing song, if there new album is going to be stuff like this it should be great |

I agree with Nightlark, i think this song along with demolition lovers sets up the whole corpses of 1000 evil men sinario, just makes sense really i guess i think both songs are definetly about the same coupel as in the songs on sweet revenge...or most of teh songs anyway...

The used dont scream in all their songs...most of the but not all of them
I think the screaming brings alot of emotion into the songs...well teh songs where he starts by singing and then goes into screaming there brilliant, and have loads of emotion...you are right in saying that when a whole song is screamed it looses emotion though I'll admit that 'I'm a fake' and 'say days ago' and a coupel of other songs sont have much emotion in them because they are just screamed the whole way through, but they arent intended as emotional songs, otherwise I'm sure he wouldnt scream them the way he does.
But actually in the majority of their songs he does actually sing..well for part of it anyway, theres only a handful of songs that he screams the whole way throught |

I agree i think this song is really hypnotic and kinda haunting... i LOVE the intro its kind and calming.
It makes me sleepy xD and cry unconrolably, im used to their songs making me cry but this one did it in a different way, and as i was listening to it and i was thinking about the whole video diary and the rough ride these guys have had and i was really touched... probably my favourite MCR song after cemetery drive its brilliant |
