isn't it "i met a girl with eight inch-fingers?" and "when you walk you walk out of order, when you talk you talk out of tune" ? eh, whatever. i love the mood of this song. i agree with ragingtaco and ddadutta.. i have a feeling that there's something pretty twisted with this song. codeine can be found in opium.. and it seems like they're both drugged to me. i think the chick may have long fingers, but he's exaggerating cause he's high. from the way the girl is described it seems like she's not very attractive, but yet the dude says she's a tropical beauty. i don't know if it's the drugs talking or if he has some weird fetish or if he's just desperate since she's the only one on the island apart from himself. |

about the "newspaper gown"... i'm guessing that Jane's social status isn't too high. She's probably just scraping by when it comes to her economy. i'm guessing the newspaper gown shows just that. the dress that she is wearing is probably cheap. maybe not the slutty kind of cheap, but rather when it comes to the price of it. and this is just to show how girl number two looked better in His eyes i guess. i saw how the first people who commented discussed this, i dont know if they cleared it out or not, cause i didnt feel like reading all the 58 entries. so someone may have written this already... yeah. |
