This song IS actually about acid. The Beatles (and other bands) were coming under alot of scrutiny for their drug content in their songs (as more became known about drug abuse) which unlike today when you can have Eminem rapping about killing people etc was very frowned upon and record companys often wouldnt sign artists and places wouldn't allow bands to play that kind of music, so to cover themselves they fabricated a story of how the song was about a drawing Johns son made, therefore the real fans of their music would know what it was truely about while the facist conserative record companies were left in the dark. I believe Paul admitted recently that the song was indeed about LSD. |

It's comparing addiction to Ketamine with love and sex, (both feel good but can have let downs etc, that kind of shit), not really a new idea but good song all the same. Ketamine is classified as a tranqualizer and mostly used by veternarains on animals but has a pleasureable effect on humans, euphoria, halllucicnations, OOBEs (can be posivitive or negative), also can give negative effects as with most psyhoactives, including despressed breathing, frightening hallucinations and eventually respitory arrest if overdosed. It's dissoactive effects make it less favorable for human use in which case morphine is usually used in place of ketamine, although it is sometimes still used on humans for medical purposes. "No escaping gravity" refers to the "comedown" effect of drugs in which withdrawl symtoms occur and is very un-pleasureable, and is impossible to avoid (unless you keep takign the drug but that will only prolong the inevitable) "achilies heel" is just refering to the drug as a weakness and anolgy to Achilies of Greek mythology, as in its going to bring him down.. etc. |

First of all the correct lyrics are... Quickness/Laid and Family/Paid stupidname0, there is another live version where he switches those around, thats probably where you got it from. It's "soggy jizz runnin' down to her chin, and it ruins up her makeup, I never wanted" and "salty tears" in the next line/verse or w/e. and lastly it is "leaking like a seive" not "her two brown eyes only get larger still", rossx is just a dumbass and dosen't know what a seive is, and his correction makes no sense anyway. "I want it more then I have ever known" as in sex "my belly stings" as in a painful lust "can't live for tommorow, tommorows much to long" another reference to sexual frustration. "today is the greatest day i've ever known" this kinda seems like he got a taste of his sexual fantasy or w/e and he feels so great that its the greatest day hes ever known.
