"it's racist (to me, a sign of dumbness), it calles slipknot goth looking (idiotic, means he doesn't know shit abouth gothic) and he calls them hard core rock... hardcore is a genre. slipknot hasn't anything to do with it, it's fucking nu-metal. it's fun laughing with dumb people" Fair enough but I still like them...I enjoy their music. But it's just what people enjoy I guess so I don't think it's fair to say Slipknot fans are dumb. Slipknot fans appreciate the band differently to you so live with it! I really don't care if people call Slipknot crap or what eva...I still enjoy their music! And it's not like I only listen to Slipknot, I like other bands too and some of them have definitely so much more talent that Slipknot! But I still respect Slipknot for what they make, just cos other bands may be more talented doesn't mean Slipknot should be ignored. |

Everyone keeps saying that people who have only listened to Duality are not true Slipknot fans and crap....but it was cos of that song that I listened to their other albums! Slipknot are just trying something else out - "I've gotta say what I've gotta say And then I swear I'll go away But I can't promise you'll enjoy the noise" That means theyr not finshed yet and they know some of you may not liek what theyr trying out, and everyone who says they should just give up they will once theyve finshed what they came ot to do. Didn't they say that they'd play what they want and if people liked it fine? Or something like that....Well thats what it means to me! |
