Led Zeppelin – Stairway to Heaven Lyrics 20 years ago
i would like to respond to the backmaskinn thing, though there is so much stuff on this song that this will probably never be read by any one but myself. any way, here is what i thinkis that they never intentionaly put a message in the song, because when people practice satanism or what ever you call it, you are taught to read and do everything backwards including reading the Bible backwards, and we all know that there is no hidden message in the HOLY BIBLE for crying out loud, accept for what people want to make outof it. and if you werent looking for a message the odds of you acctually finding one would be very, very slim. so ultimately my point is, the message is just something that someone trying to worship Satan found, not something that the band members tried to make. besides i have listened to it and didnt get anything from all the gibberish until i had some "words" of the message to read along side the music, and you probably couldn't either.

Led Zeppelin – Rock and Roll Lyrics 20 years ago
the song formed when the band became sort of upset when they were told that Led Zeppelin III wasn't really a "Rock and Roll" album, so they struck back with the song, basically saying," well, we did stray a bit from rock and roll, but were back, and were not about to quit".

Led Zeppelin – Living Loving Maid (She's Just a Woman) Lyrics 20 years ago
the song is about a groupy that was constantly trying to follow the band, which is where the line "we all know what your name is so you better lay your money down" came from, because they all knew who she was, but she still tried to be secretive about following the band. Jimmy Page actually despized the song so much that it never got preformed live.

Led Zeppelin – Moby Dick Lyrics 20 years ago
the song title actually came from John Bonhams son telling his dad to play "the big one" and John saying "what big one?" then his son said "you know the one thats big like Moby", hence the name "Moby Dick.
