| Judas Priest – The Ripper Lyrics | 20 years ago |

This short song does more than almost any other to display Rob's amazing range. Truly the Metal God! I remember in high school I used a sound effects record to create a mix of this with running footsteps, panting, a woman's scream and then the guitar kicks in. Great song! |

| Judas Priest – You've Got Another Thing Comin' Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
You have one shot at this life. Get it right, now! Don't sit on your butt while the world passes you by. Take your chance, heck, MAKE your own chance. Don't let anything stand between you and your dreams. In a nutshell the meaning of this song is, "GO FOR IT!" |

| Judas Priest – Beyond The Realms Of Death Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
This song is about a person who is tired of the screwed up society we've created on Earth. He decides not to function in it anymore. "Keep the world with all its sin It's not fit for livin' in Yeah! I will start again It can take forever, and ever, and ever And ever, but I'll still win." The movie "Brazil" with Jonathan Pryce ends on a very similar note as the hero refuses to be conquered by the Secret Police and instead creates his own "reality" inside his head. Awesome, epic song. Priest is the best and this song makes it obvious why. |

| Judas Priest – Breaking The Law Lyrics | 20 years ago |

This is the song that really made me a Priest fan. I spent about 6 hours at a friend's house listening to British Steel over and over. I have been a priest fan ever since. This is a great song. Love the sirens during the solo. "Breakin' the what? Breakin' the what? Breakin' the LAW! You got it!" |

| Judas Priest – Painkiller Lyrics | 20 years ago |

Priest gives in to the temptation to sell CDs by going thrash. A good song from a great album. This is my least favorite Priest style, but they still do it well. Scott Travis' double-bass is just amazing. A lot of tracks on Anegel of Retribution are remeniscent. |

| Judas Priest – Turbo Lover Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
The Hi-Octane extended mix of this song rules. Their are so many layers of sounds in this song. Turbo was a great album. True Priest fans could see that they were experimenting and pushing the envelope of what metal could be. Unfortunately, the beer-swilling, head-banging morons didn't get it. |

| Judas Priest – Angel Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
First, "Before The Dawn" and "Last Rose of Summer" are Priest's best ballads. But, you'd have to be a real fan to have heard either of those. "Angel" is a song to the object of his devotion. He is singing to someone who is perfect, so good and pure that they are above this world. He has done things in his life that he regrets. Things that may have driven Angel aways from him. But, he knows that in the future his sins and wrongdoing will be cleansed and washed away and then they can be together again. This song is his plea for her to come back to him, or at least to remember him until they can be together. A very tender and spiritual song by a group that you don't expect to see that from. |
