taking back sunday is amazing.
but ok, so i always thought the "your a lush and i hate it" just meant like, "you're really gorgeous and i hate it (cos i keep fallin in love with you or something)" but i looked up lush the other day... and it says it means pleasing to the senses (gorgeous, no?), but also an alcoholic. so... which one do they mean? probably the alcoholic. or is it kinda double meaning? |

This song really gets me every time I hear it. Last time I listened to it was last night, in a car with one of my best guys friends. (Who I used to like, but is now going out with one of my best girl friends. Ouch.) To him, this song is pretty much how all his past relationships have ended. To me, it is just another sad song about having to let someone go in your heart. None the less, makes me cry every time. |
