yeah i absolutely love this song. i think that its about trying to finish something, trying to work on something, or trying to accomplish something. maybe a relationship? and he "can't let go" and "cant pretend" because its really a lie or its really not working out. he feels like hes a failure and he cant let go of the relationship. anyways thats what i got out of it. i dont get the part where he sings"very i'm so friendly very i'm so halloween" explanations? |

im not absolutly certain, but i think that this song is about how people put too much faith in religion. "Was it faith that paid the rent?" that line means that when people pray (for example to make rent) that its not religion that makes that happen, its them. people make their own miracles and it has nothing to do with their religion or faith. its almost kind of anti religion to me...but im not sure. |

wow i see this song different than everyone else ive never seen the movie, maybe thats why?? but i see it as death, suicide maybe, maybe just depression? but they are colorblind to the world they cant see it for anything good "pull me out from inside" there soul leaving their body "I am taffy stuck and tongue tied/Stutter shook and uptight" i think this is describing the fact that they dont know what to do anymore... the whole bit about "i am ready x3" is them thinking about killing themselves, then "i am fine" deciding againts it. |
