Good writers are so few and far between, Anthony really brings his feelings to the table in this (poem, not song). I feel the same sense of fear and just the uncomforted feeling of being out of your norm. He also brings up many amazing points in this piece. I really could just sit here and go on and on about his use of simple language, but I really don't have time. But just as one example, the next time you read it pause at 'on', it starts an all new understanding of his place in all of the story.
anyways thats my spill.
ps. a note for MR. FiXXXerUpper, if you don't like Anthony Green's writing you have the open choice to read many other writer's works, I'm sure there are plenty of people who write on the 3rd grade level you enjoy. Thank you. |

ok I totally agree that birdhouse person should never again post lyrics...sorry...but this song is about the movie "eternal sunshine of the spotless mind" in all of the interviews with the band they say that the cd is based from that movie and they all talk about how much that movie affected them and stuff so yeah...

this song is pretty straight forward...I think...Theres this chick
and shes kind of a slut, thus the

so this is the part where she, finds that this isn't the life that she wants.

that show the abuse in the relationship, this song hits really close to home, for me, it makes me cry every time I hear it. |

yes totally adore the piano in the whole cd it's amazing, and I have to agree with 'aveceva' even though it took me 57 min.s to read the whole thing, I still think that they are right, kinda there are small pionts that I disagree on but for the most part, I like there 'spill' on the song...and if you can buy this cd it's so worth it! |

I think (and I'm most likely wrong) that they are refering to the fact that he has been 'sleeping' at other girls houses....my brothers are in a band(the soon after) and they are gonna be opening for sullivan soon so when they do I'll ask them myself and comment back. |

I was at their show last night and the lead singer gave the meaning for this song "this song was writen from the perspective of a man that was in the eyes of the world was a very bad man, and he did every thing he could to get to the top, he didn't care who he had to step on to get there, one day his past caut up with him and he got 2 bullits to his back, but what the man who shot him didn't know was that he(guy number1) had receved Christ as his Savior not too long before and hadn't had the time to change or try to change the thing that he had done...and the rest of the song is showing that you don't have to be perfect or even close to it for God to love you and He did make a way for you even if you are like this man and desrve the lead." |
