| No, its coincidental. | |
| NOFX – Lori Meyers Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Most definitely not. Her voice sounds too contrived, like she's trying to fit a stereotypical punk voice. Doesn't sound natural or raw like other great punk vocalists. Otherwise great song. | |

| Warren Zevon – Hasten Down the Wind Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| well i agree with you on that one. however, there are jackson browne and linda ronstadt covers of it, which are almost expected. they were some of the few to help him get known...to see his genius early. then again, it seems that a lack of public acknowledgment of zevon is expected, although a mystery. | |
| Star Fucking Hipsters – Immigrants & Hypocrites Lyrics | 17 years ago |

My favorite song on the album. It's a pretty straight forward and precise social and political commentary that you can expect from any of the crack rock steady seven. "it's no surprise you're outta luck your mama rasied a stupid fuck" My favorite line, reminds me of the line from gay rude boys unite, "you know i'm not pc, i'll shoot your kid at school, cause he's gonna grow up to be a fucking asshole just like you." great band, great album. |

| Morning Glory – Extraordinary Lyrics | 20 years ago |

Brilliant Song. Perfect story of the submission of the general public, only to finally stand up to the suppressors. "then one morning america woke and he found he was the world's joke he jumped to get his gun but the world did not run johnny, johnny it's so true what are you gonna do? when the world decides that it ain't gonna take anymore shit from you" Definitely a relevant song in this new-age fascism that our gov't is slowly evolving into without anyone noticing. We need to revolt and tell our government we want the original freedoms that our forefathers fought and died for, not this Patriot Act fascist bullshit to give more power to the exec. |

| David Bowie – Sorrow Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| I can't believe no one has written anything on this song. Another profoundly simple, beautifully written song by one of the best singer/songwriters of every generation he's existed in, which is a pantload. Simple meaning, but so well done, i couldn't leave it uncommented on. | |
| Warren Zevon – Werewolves of London Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| to continue...zevon himself was definitely anti-govt and anti-restraint, and did respect and revere the message that the early punks/werewolves were trying to convey, and this is his kind of tribute to a much underappreciated music of the time...awesome | |
| Warren Zevon – Werewolves of London Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| I can't believe know one else knows this. The entire song is just about the early punk movement in England. ie Sex Pistols. "I saw a werewolf drinking a pinacolada at trader vics, his hair was perfect." The British punks were notorious for their perfectly eccentric hairstyles. Just an incredibly ingenious parallel between the early punk movement of the 70s and 80s to werewolves....brilliant musician, its a shame he isnt still with us. | |
