Priscilla Ahn – Are We Different? Lyrics 19 years ago
like i said about Lullaby, i love this song's sound! i guess really i just love priscilla ahn's sound overall. and her lyrics too...they make me feel like i'm on the verge of something very deep, like staring down into an abyss. excited to hear what she puts out next.

i think this is supposed to be "Lullaby"? anyway when i listen to this song i get this really sad and sweet feeling. i love its sound...perfect with the lyrics...and all the random vocalizing too. can't wait to hear what priscilla ahn does next

i never really paid attention to this song until Andy Greenwald dedicated about 3 pages of his novel Miss Misery to it (really good read, btw)...and now i can't believe i ever overlooked it. love this song! and i love it even more when listening to it with prom in mind.

Incubus – Aqueous Transmission Lyrics 19 years ago
so beautiful..

and i agree with so much of what's already been said in previous posts. like a river, it has no limits.. it's so real and ethereal at the same time. and i love that it has such a different and unexpected feel from the rest of incubus' stuff.. meditative, therapeutic, breathtaking.. by far my favorite incubus song. and it makes sense in so many ways.. it just feels right, like a strange peace..

Panic! at the Disco – A minute of perfection was worth the effort. A moment was the most you could ever expect from perfection. Lyrics 19 years ago
mm i agree that certain lines do allude to Invisible Monsters, but i don't remember that Fight Club quote (but i only saw the movie, maybe it's only in the book?). and yeea so excited for their new album. i'm getting into chuck palahniuk so much now because of panic. loved loved loved Invisible Monsters and currently reading Lullaby. and to whoever was trashing writing music about books, i think it's brilliant!

Joshua Radin – Star Mile Lyrics 19 years ago
I agree with all of the above..especially DayDreamer's interpretation, and can definitely relate to the bittersweetness of this song (from the girl's point of view). This song is so touching. These lines: "Remember the face / Of the girl who made you her own / And how you left her alone" are, well, exactly how I feel right now about someone.
Also, I love the image of this line: "And all the gold dust in her eyes won’t reform into rain"

i am in love with this song. it's so simple and intimate, and the harmony is amazing.
