Sun Kil Moon – Duk Koo Kim Lyrics 18 years ago
haha i agree with the shortest 14.5 minute song ever comment :)
this is beautifully composed lyrically and musically. I find myself spending hours putting it on repeat. After all it just takes two plays to take up a half an hour, jeez. love the lyrics of the first verse, but i find myself most taken with the second half of the song. amazing music.

Brand New – Yeah (Sowing Season) Lyrics 18 years ago
thequietthing said it so well.
i appreciate this version for the raw emotion in it. this lo-fi version was defintely not appropriate for the newer album so its best they re recorded it. however i still prefer this version, its really more than i expected from him

i wish they'd do one too. After I saw Braid's reuinion show I;ve always had some slight hope that they would.

Indian Summer – Angry Son Lyrics 20 years ago
ive been lurking around this place for awile because a coupla years ago or more this was the only site i could find with this set of lyrics.
one of my favourite bands of all time, though somewhat of an aquired taste, is what got me into the 90s emo/screamo vein.

i know members of this band have more recently been in her space holiday, and the eastern seaboard, but does anybody know what bands the singer (Adam?) continued with? i could never find out.

Akron/Family – Future Myth Lyrics 20 years ago
when i first started listening to this band i was sure that "running/returning" was my favourite and that it couldn't get any better, and then i heard "afford" and felt the same way. but this is the best so far. in my opinion their best set of lyrics so far and wonderfully composed and diverse song. I can't get sick of it.
