The song is about the colonization of the Americas. It's obvious. Read it as the first half being from the perspective of Columbus/other European Settlers arriving in American and trying to make the Indians conform to them. The second half (beginning at MMMWATCHA SAYYY haha) is from the perspective of the Indians reacting to the injustices of the Europeans. A few have already stated this, but It's really a clear cut explanation with no holes. |
