Actually it was a song about civil right originally when Otis Reddng sag it. Obviously the meaning is mewhat different with Aretha Singing it. Anyway, who cares what was attempted to be puerveyed by the song it means different things to different people, that is what art it, art is subjective. Moral; be tolerant - let people think what they want about the song. |

Is it superficial to think that Talking Heads is a pretty similar band to Blondie? I mean I know that they are often compared because of their "New Wave" origins but sometimes David Byrne's lyrics really remind me of Debbie Harry's. Oh well, this obviously had no point. Other than wondering if other people agree/ will disagree agressively/sarcastically. |
