| I just have to say, it took me several listens, but I LOVE this song! Brandon really sounds like he is trashed, and it's funny and miserable at the same time. His speech is slurred and I can just picture him staggering around, waving a bottle as he sings. I think it's theatrically brilliant. The line, "But everything will be alright, if I get trashed tonight" is both funny and sadly realistic. I think it's great. | |

In the Counting Crows section, when he says, "And we get lost sometimes But we don't know how it's a sold out show," Is that a specific reference to something? The audience reacted to it with that omg-that's-a-reference-to-a-current-event laughter, and I was just wondering. |
