i think this is a bollocks copy of an amazing song but anyway opinions aside i reckon the lyrics are about how much u can love someone but the negatives feelings that come out of love outweigh the positive ones....."all i ever learned from love was how to shoot at some one who out drew you" She tied you to a kitchen chair She broke your throne, she cut your hair this is another negative thing from love......you could love someone so much...but that someone might not belong to the person u think it does...therefore u are ripped appart the songs grt becos it uses hallelujah in diffeent contexts and showing how things arent always happy.....but im nt religious and shit so i cnt say much about that dya know what i mean |

| i reckon this song like shannyh is about change...it doesnt suggest any hatred of time change lyrically but certainly not a like of it.........the whole crack in the wall thing thats cool cos its like at first u hav this small problem but u dnt think anything will happen but soon the crack gets bigger and bigger but no one cares cos its been like it so much just like in the real world..no one will ever fix it them selves they always expect others to do it until the problem just gets passed on and no one fixes it...it also says about his dad coming back and thats like saying how things can chnange but they dnt always and often things just stay the same..not noticed like the books that are never read etc | |

well i totally agree with abscababs but i think in the video that its just portraying the song in a more literal sense so its easier to understand i think that like someone sed that it is talkin about 2 ppl but as one person....so like its the man she thought he was...and then the man he really is and the bit about lying naked on the floor i agree is about losing her virginity and feeling used becos she had no idea what he was rlly like |
