| Girlicious – Like Me Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
"If I had a stiff one..." Is it just me or does hearing a hot girl say that sound totally unsexy (assuming that I understood the meaning of "stiff one")? |

| Christina Aguilera – Dirrty (feat. Redman) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
"How do you know what every male fantasy is?" Did I ever claim to know what every male fantasty is? "How dare you criticize my arguement based on spelling and errors of the like. Never do that, because it will make you look like an idiot for not assessing the arguement, as opposed to the syntax which is nothing in the grand scheme of things." If the corrections I made on your spelling somehow offended you, then I apologize. As for you accusing me of "not assessing the arguement," the questions I posed were opportunities for you to back up statements with actual facts, not assumptions. If you had answered those questions (which you managed to avoid doing), then it would've helped me in evaluating your argument. |

| Christina Aguilera – Get Mine, Get Yours Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
"it basically about her being the little slut she is...now i love xtina and i love this song but shes just slutty." -summerbreeze23 To SummerBreeze23: Would you feel the same way if a guy sang this song? I hope so 'cause then at least you wouldn't be a hypocrite. |

| Britney Spears – Autumn Goodbye Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I like the song but I don't like the way Britney sings it. "Autumn Goodbye" would sound infinitely better if a different (and more talented) singer sang it. | |
| Ashlee Simpson – Shadow Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I am not exaggerating when I say lyrically, this is one of the worst songs I've ever heard. I have no problem with Ashlee wanting to sing about being ignored while her sister became famous. However, if an artist is going to write a song of that subject matter, it should be done in a way that is sophisticated and artistic, not childish and one-dimensional. |

| Christina Aguilera – Dirrty (feat. Redman) Lyrics | 19 years ago |

"THIS SONG! AHHHHHHHHH, its the epitome of everything I object to. Where do I start? Is this even worth my time? Cliche Christina, bringing the same old trivial opinions to the table. Her as a person, regardless of the meaning this song suggests, whatever that may be? She's an uneducated egotist, flouting about with appealing images and controvertial concepts. Not to mention completely contradictory! She offers opinions of equal rights, yet exploits herself awkwardly. She tells young girls to be their own person, yet selfishly directs them towrds the hearding call of the sheppard. This song means there is something wrong with our society!" -Interpretationalist I think by "controvertial" you meant "controversial" and by "hearding" you meant "herding." "Towrds" is spelled "towards." Do you know for a fact that it was Christina's intention to "exploits herself awkwardly" and to "selfishly [direct young girls] towrds the hearding call of the sheppard"? Has she ever stated those things as her intentions? Yes, Christina Aguilera is "uneducated" but YOU, oh WOW, YOU are oh-so HIGHLY intelligent. |

| Christina Aguilera – Dirrty (feat. Redman) Lyrics | 19 years ago |

"she makes every girl look like a slut. she is playing up to the male fantasy as saying, THIS IS WHAT WOMAN ARE GOOD FOR. she says she all for woman empowerment, HOW?!?!!! she is showing her self being used as a sex icon for men in a sleazy way, and then she goes an says this is the REAL her?!?!?1 answer me on that one Xtina fans, what kind of message does this video send out?" -ilovelucy If she "makes every girl look like a slut," that says something about the ignorance of other people, nothing about Christina. In all the interviews and articles I read about this song, she never said she was trying to fulfill a "male fantasy." And how could she think "this is what woman are good for." Have you heard her song "Can't Hold Us Down"? I responded to a comment like yours at Pink's "U+Ur Hand". A woman can be empowered and dress in sexy clothing at the same time as long as it is HER CHOICE to do so and no one else's. THAT is what empowerment is right there. Is Christina saying that ALL women should dress in a sexual way? No. It's that they always have a choice to do so. Did that answer your question? |

| Christina Aguilera – Ain't No Other Man Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
"typical woman who can't stand on her own and needs a man to feel strong and... he makes her suffer , which makes her like him more :) " -Gigo What do you mean by "typical woman"? And what's with the "he makes her suffer" part? Do you hate women or something? |

| Pink – Stupid Girls Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
"Dude you are so stupid!!" I'm not a "dude" and I'm not the one coming across as "stupid." If you want to know why, then keep reading. "pink isnt another avril lavign ok?" If you listen to some of Avril's earlier music and read some of her interviews when she debuted, you'll know what I meant by that comment. "do you know her personally? no i didnt think so" ...and WHEN did I say I knew her personally? Oh, that's right. I never did. "so shut your mouth" No. "she is awesome and a great role model!" That's your opinion, not mine. Note that this is the only thing I'm NOT arguing against. Before you verbally attack me again, please THINK before you type or else you'll come across as one of the people referred to in the title of this song. |

| Beyoncé – Listen Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I like the message of "Listen" but I don't like the way Beyonce sings the song. She overdoes it with the vocals and after a while, it gets annoying. | |
| Vanessa Hudgens – Come Back To Me Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
The lyrics to this song are horribly cliched. The only good thing I could say is that Vanessa's a better singer than I thought. On HSM, her singing voice was really high-pitched, which made it somewhat unpleasant to listen to at times. |

| The Pussycat Dolls – Tainted Love/Where Did Our Love Go Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| "Suck ass-ey"? How sophisticated... | |
| Pink – U + Ur Hand Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
"I find it hilarious that she promotes woman thinking for themselves and not being objectified in life and in music videos and yet in the video for this song half the time shes jumping around in skimpy outfits, or little clothing." -kyleisgreat A woman CAN be empowered and dress in sexy clothing at the same time, so long as it's her choice to dress that way and no one else's. |

| Darren Hayes – I Miss You Lyrics | 19 years ago |

"It sounds ridiculous, but when you leave a room There's part of me that just wants to follow you too" I just love that line. |

| Ben Jelen – Setting Of The Sun Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This is one of my favorite Ben Jelen songs. I'm actually disappointed that someone as talented and gifted as he is not getting the recognition that he deserves. | |
| The Pussycat Dolls – Sway Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I think they did an OK job covering this. | |
| The Pussycat Dolls – Tainted Love/Where Did Our Love Go Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This is actually one of the few songs that I liked off of PCD. It's got a different feel from Soft Cell's version, which I liked also. | |
| Bee Gees – How Deep Is Your Love Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This is my all-time favorite love song. | |
| Usher – U Got It Bad Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| The one thing I love about this song is the guitar break. The way it sounds is just.....sexy. That's the only word I can use to describe it. It's just sexy. | |
| Alanis Morissette – Crazy (Seal cover) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Honestly, I like Alanis' version better than Seal's original. | |
| Shakira – Hips Don't Lie Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
Wyclef Jean did a song almost exactly like this with Claudette Ortiz. It's on the "Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights" soundtrack and titled "Dance Like This." I'm curious as to why Wyclef chose to redo the song almost two years after its first version was released with the movie. |

| Pink – Stupid Girls Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
I'll start off by saying that I appreciate the message that Pink tries to give in this song: aspire to be something more. With that said, I am not impressed with this song for several reasons: 1) The chorus is annoying. 2) If Pink wanted to send out a positive message, it probably would have been more effective to do it in a way so that she doesn't have to trash other celebrities whom she has never met or known personally. Otherwise, she just comes off as a hater. Or another Avril Lavigne. 3) This songs lacks originality. To me, it's the same old tired, cliched "don't-conform-to-society" tune. Hasn't this been done before? |
