HammerFall – The Dragon Lies Bleeding Lyrics 20 years ago
Grace, I'm not sure about that. It's certainly about some crusade, but more likely a fictional one. Although the referencing to "Eden" and such may suggest it, meh. Dragon. But whatever. My favorite Hammerfall song, and proabably will stay so for a long time.

Audioslave – We Got The Whip Lyrics 20 years ago
I like the mood aof this song, a lot of satire in what he's saying. I agree, too. A lot of soldiers, not only from the U.S., don't know what their fighting for.

Does anyone know where you can pick this thing up, besides downloading it?

Metallica – Last Caress / Green Hell (Misfits cover) Lyrics 20 years ago
Awesome song. I think it's too pompous to belong on Ride, really, but that's my opinion. Definantly different sound than a lot of that stuff on Garage Inc., though.

Pantera – Cemetery Gates Lyrics 20 years ago
Very, very powerful song. I was surprised when I heard it, the intro is very unlike Pantera, but it still owns. And thanks, Elimination, was wondering about those third and fourth lines.

They can call me what they want, I honestly don't care.

Slipknot – Duality Lyrics 20 years ago
IRoxYerSox, although I agree with you, you're just making all the kiddies here mad so you can laugh at them more. It doesn't have a point.

Yeah, possibly the only Slipknot song I do and ever will like besides Before I Forget. Some pretty decent guitar and vocals. I am mildly pleased.

Arch Enemy – The Immortal Lyrics 20 years ago
Greatest Arch Enemy song ever. I'm surprised there are so few comments on this, or every other songof their,s, for that matter.

I'm pretty sure this is loosely based on the epic Xanadu. About a guy who lives forever, but wishes he was . An interesting topic.

Metallica – The Thing That Should Not Be Lyrics 20 years ago
Thanks, Nodens. I couldn't have explained it better then that. Makes me feel all warm inside that people are still reading the classics.

And, yeah, this song kicks ass, even if it is mainly for the lyrical elements. The vocals sound strangled and the riff feels like it's crawling forward. It may be a bit reppetitive, but it's still one of the better songs on Puppets.
