| The Flaming Lips – Sleeping on the Roof Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This song is definately a tribute of sorts to Peanut's Christmas. It sounds almost identical and the name is "Sleeping on the Roof", I think they're most likely referring to Snoopy, from Peanuts. | |

| The Postal Service – The District Sleeps Alone Tonight Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
I think it's about someone who killed someone in a drinking driving accident, and has been sent to jail. "A vinyl sticker with big block letters Adherent to my chest That tells your new friends I am a visitor here: I am not permanent" Is saying that he's got a nametag on to tell people that he isn't also a prisoner in the jail. "In this gaudy apartment complex" Is referring to his prison with all the cells and such. "A stranger with your door key Explaining that I am just visiting" Is the guy that works at the prison with the cell's doorkey saying that he's got a visitor come to see him. |
