| The Clash – Brand New Cadillac Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Great song. I love how he sings cadillac. I think's its about a girl who's cheating on her boyfriend with a rich guy, and when the rich guy gets her a cadillac, she just goes to rub it into her boyfriend's face and then dumps him. That's how I've always seen it, though it might not be what they intended when they wrote the song. | |

Have you seen Scissor Sisters' newest video? Much gayer than this song, I think. There doesn't seem to be anything that even hints at being gay in this song. I really love this song. It's not the type of thing I usually listen to, but it really makes me want to dance and it isn't one of those annoying party songs. His voice sounds interesting and I think this song is refreshingly different. I don't quite get the video, but it's cool (especially the German part at the very beginning. German is always sexy). Anyway, what's the point in wasting your time to comment on a song you hate if you can't even give a new opinion on it? It's no use to have lots of posts just saying that this song is shit or sucks or whatever, if none of them state WHY. I agree that repetition can be annoying, but I think it works in this song. I thought it was "kiss your sexy" and then the woman-voice sort of whispers "assss" in the background. It's a bit hard to understand what he's really saying. :D |

I love this song, and I don't think The Clash ever sold out. I probably would never have even heard about them if they hadn't had hits and become popular. I think there's a lot of good music nowadays. Of course I love Led Zeppelin and The Crash, but there's new good stuff too. Like someone said earlier, if you don't think there's any new bands you could like, stop watching MTV. |

| I love this song. I don't really think it's pointed at paris hilton/other such people, but it does sound a bit like them. I like to think it's not about celebrities. | |

"She's so hot that ever since seventh grade (a bit twisted actually 11 yrs old!?) she's been an object of desire to men. they all want to do (Ha, ha-ha, ha, ha-ha) unspeakable things with her." 7th GRADE not seventh year. So she's 13/14. I'm not much into this type of music, but it's catchy. You get sick of it after a few listenings, but who cares? It's okay for a while and because of the repetition, it's easy to singalong to aswell. I like the idea that they leave the sentences open. It gives the song a way to stand out slightly from the others. I'm not saying I like this song (must make that clear) but there's nothing wrong with it. It's the stuff that's SUPPOSED to be on the radio and a lot of people like it. |

This song sounds so cool. I think it's about somehow ending up in a situation you didn't plan on getting yourself into, and that you'd actually feared that you might end up in. You'd planned everything to make sure you could avoid the situation, but your plans failed. And I think that he thought that he could get out of the situation by talking to someone, and that that someone could help him. Much too late he realizes that he can't be helped by that person. I think that the "she" isn't really a woman, but the thing that landed him in the situation he was so keen to avoid. Of course, my analysis is completely wrong, but it's just what I think at the moment. |

| I love the "I taste of nothing" -part. It doesn't quite fit in but it still sums it all up, I think. | |
