I absolutely love this song but it wasnt the lyrics that drew me to it at first. It was the sound so powerful and at times you feel possesed by it. When I actually took time to think about the lyrics I understood it to be about someone who is possesed, leading a life that is a lie. He cant stop lying about his feelings trying to be strong but actually being torn up inside even to the point that he is blind to the masquerade himself. So when the last part says 'I'll try, I'll try' its like as if hes trying to change his ways but he doenst know if he can. 'My life for worse or better am just craving for a cure' |
