Sorry... this CD sounds like the same old tune. I swear, this band is so absurd. I find it funny how they preach against america, about corrupt polotics and the EVIIIIILLLLLL of war-- and how the people with power do nothing but feed on the demoralization and fear of the masses. This entire CD mocks americans as idiots and fools, and insults us yet kids these days eat it up like candy. It's really something. But the most absurd thing is how the band is entirely made up of hypocrits. The people with the power and the money who are able to make changes-- BIG changes-- do nothing but make stupid CDs to induce mass paranoia. When was the last time Greenday wrote to congress or donated money to a choral program? The regular joe blow can't speak up because he can't LOSE his job-- most americans live paycheck to paycheck, work to pay of their student loans and try, TRY, to support their families on the crap wages they earn on their 9-5. What does green day do? Make their shitty songs, with their uneblievably dull musical structure and dynamics, take your money from your albums and buys nice houses and cars. What do they do? They make me sick and this entire CD is nothing but a joke. Feel free to disagree-- it just shows how uneducated children are and how impressionable our teenage and young adult youth, truly is. |

| Hmm.... While possibly the most insulting song I've ever heard in my entire life I feel that even Goldfinger has stepped a little far over its own inflated ego's to insult people who have even an ounce of humility or anything otherwise to believe in anything but themselves. Unlike these few ego-maniac BOYS who created this song and who feel their opinions are worth anything, the majority of American's don't have millions of dollars to spend on such a large waste of time. If their aim was to enlighten their impressionable fans, they did a poor job. From a band that prides itself on its music against the war and against animal cruelty; they sure did succeed in arousing utter hatred towards their “Class” or lack of through their expression in the entire CD, “Hello Destiny”. Despite the lyrics (for those people who actually open their mind and listening to this example of extreme depravity) the musical construction is very good. Such a shame this song was a complete disappointment-- as well as most of the CD. | |

This song is definetely about atlkig; or at least, a severe obsession with this one woman. He's saying; you can try to kill me, curse me, hate, beat me- but i'll still be following you around. Something like S&M... and whatnot. Apparently this girl doesn't want anything to do with him; but he's still obsessed with her... it's sad. ANd plus, it's obvious that he's never going to give up o nher- but I don't think he loves her; just obsessed. |

The first stanza is about how the road is so long and distant. He thinks about how the only thing he has in his life is the hotels which he stays in while he is on tour. It sounds to me like he has lost his ability to hear the music anymore; the paper heart that he refers to could be the passion for writing music, perhaps? And he says it's always over his head, when will he get a break from it? The second verse I am not so clear on, but the chorus... When your on tour you leave a lot of things behind. On Sundays; usually a daay for a family- you don't get too many calls- nobody hangs out- your working, being busy. He says he wants another chance to put is arms in fragile Hands... I dunno. From here on I think he found that, even though they said forever (this girl and him)- she left him. She left him and all he had was his music so he took it and all he has left is bitter dreams and memories- and his music... a violen perhaps? Violence osunds more fitting... any thoughts? |

Haha, I love this song so much! IT has such a personal meaning to me! The lines about how pissed the girls mother would be if she knew what that man was kissing; is friggin' hilarious! The fact that my mother would be SUPER PISSED if she knew what my boyfriend and I do- that exact statement... oh lord XD And the dad line? I friggin' busted OUT LAUGHING! That was hilarious. He orgasms in the song too, so it's so funny XD I don't know but I can't stop listening to this song- and whenever I get in the car with my boyfriend when we've got intentions other then driving; we pop on this song and LAUGH LAUGH LAUGH XD "TRied to tell her dad it was her MOUTH I WAS KISSING XD XD XD" HOw funny XD |
