| Aimee Mann – Save Me Lyrics

I think you are spot on! I feel this song is about thinking I'm the person who is a freak, and I will never find true love. And the reason is that true love only seems to happen to "normal" people, and not freaks. So when she finds Superman, or Peter Pan, she doesn't really feel that they can help her, because she doesn't know how to love. They will try to "save" her, but in the end, if she is a freak, she will never truly love, and she won't know love! The last line of the song sums it up: "Except the Freaks who could never love anyone". They no longer "suspect" they could never love anyone. They can't love anyone! I shed a tear. I'm one of those freaks. |

| Crowded House – Don't Dream It's Over Lyrics

This song is all about love man. Me and a girl just broke up and this song speaks to me. The singer is telling his girl or wife not to let the world come between the relationship. The world meaning all the mundane, every day, and even crazy things that happen to challenge a relationship. When he's towing the car, and hole in the roof - everyday problems that couples deal with. His possessions are causing suspicion, probably because she might be a gold digger and he suspects he could lose them to her if they divorce. And there are big problems in the world, but all she does is watch t.v., because life is so mundane... |

| Katy Perry – California Gurls Lyrics

Because the song "California Girls" is by the Beach Boys. It was too popular to take the same name. And, Snoop in this song is actually cool, I was surprised. I didn't like him in it the first few times, but after hearing this song like 50 times already, I can't wait until the Snoop part, especially at the end whey he says "yay....yay" because he sounds like a dirty old man trying to hit on some tight Cali. girl at the beach. |

This song like many other Beatles, in my opinion, could have a double meaning if you look for it. Could be a whore, but definitely single mother. I like how they use "See how they'll run" to mean the stockings and the children. That is genius. |

| The Beatles – Eleanor Rigby Lyrics

My feeling from this song is that we are all lonely, but we aren't willing to do anything about it or help anyone else. It's like we feel so sorry for Eleanor Rigby, but it seems nobody really cared for her. She dreamed of happiness and marriage, but in the end, just died - lonely and unmarried. We live, we die, nobody really cares. The Priest obviously didn't help anyone either, he just went on living his useless life folding his socks, as if that makes him a good person.
How sad this is. For the Beatles to be able to write this stuff, obviously they understood loneliness just like the rest of us. |

| The Beatles – Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds Lyrics

The lyrics stink of being on drugs. It might be LSD, just because of the Lucy...Sky...Diamonds, but if you think about the song, it has no plot. It's a fantasy. I don't see how any of the verses come together to form a plot or story. What does Lucy have to do with any of the verses? I don't get it. It sounds like something someone would think up while on drugs. The only consistent meaning I get out of it is that John is trying to describe some weird fantasy. Notice he talks about being on a boat, then taxi, then train. Why does he mention these modes of transportation? Who is Lucy and why does she keep showing up? Head in the clouds sounds like being high. Lucy keeps showing up... Could go on and on. |

Luv luv luv this song. If you try to figure out what it means, you will quickly see that there is not one meaning. How do you explain all the confusing lyrics? It's just a cool fantasy. My interpretation is that he is not happy and kills a man, and is judged by good and evil, but it doesn't really matter. Nothing matters, life is meaningless (refer to the beginning, it could be fantasy or real, but it doesn't matter). |
