i think alot of you are trying way to hard to find a literal interpretation. it seems to me the song isn't so much about religion as it is about someone turning to drugs/alcohol when their life gets difficult. |

it does kind of follow on The End of This Chapter
. this guy is madley in love with a woman, but then the man leaves his gf for a while, then when he comes back to her, shes cheating on him. so he does what he thinks is 'right' and kills her.
gotta love that happy ending, lol. seriously though its really twisted how the chorus talks about doing what is Noble, right n' Moral then he goes on and kills the bitch. |

it could be taken in 2 different ways
on the one side is the story of the werewolf who runs away from his woman to avoid killing her, but she (like an horny moron) follows him wanting to get laid. thusly she gets killed when she locks herself in the barn with him instead of running like hell.
on the other hand the metaphor that Python gave makes pretty good sense too |
