Perhaps... They also pull some lyrics from Ozma's "Domino Effect" "A chance lasts a finite time in the warm July nighttime" |

| Ambulance LTD – Stay Tuned Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| It seems to me like the singer has to leave his love for a time. However, he does not want the relationship to end and pledges to return soon. Televeision (or radio) is used as a metaphor for the relationship. Inm asking her to "stay tuned" and not change the channel/turn it off, he is asking her not to give up on the relationship. | |
| Ambulance LTD – Straight A's Lyrics | 19 years ago |

I tried listening to the song and figuring out the lyrics, and this is what I came up with. It might not be completely correct, but it should be pretty close. As for the meaning, it seems to me that he's telling someone (a girl?) that everything will work out in the end. The girl seems somewhat worried about the future and the speaker is willing to help her, although he feels confident that she can get by without his help. |

| Starflyer 59 – She Only Knows Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
This is one of my favorite songs off of Silver. The first line seems to indicate that there was some sort of car crash in which someone close to Jason was killed. Holding hands with the female figure (could be a friend/girlfriend/mother/other female relative) helps ease his pain by reminding him that the person who died has gone to a better place (Heaven). |

| Discover America – Tight Rope Walker Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| This song sort of reminds me of myself. The guy (the "tight rope walker") has a crush, but he's very shy and second guesses himself. Although this can prevent him from telling the girl how he feels, it also means that if he does end up telling her, she can be certain that what he says in genuinely true and not some kind of trick. | |
| Starflyer 59 – One Shot Juanita Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
This is easily one of the saddest songs I have ever heard. It's so painfully beautiful (if that makes any sense). The lyrics seem fairly straightforward. "The past life" (his relationship with this girl) wasn't good and he feels he's better off without her. What she has done (and continues to do) to him has hurt him emotionally ("stop stabbing my heart"). If you listen close toward the end of the 2:30+ instrumental part to end the song, you can hear Jason Martin say (not sing) "I wrote you this letter ... just to say ... I love you." So it seems he still has feelings for her. An overall summary: He was hurt by this girl (possibly by her cheating on Jason with another guy and then leaving Jason for this other guy). Jason is hurt and upset, but he still loves the girl. Also, I think "One Shot Juanita" was the nickname of a girl that Jason Martin (and former SF59 bassist Jeff Cloud) went to school with. |

| Starflyer 59 – I Drive a Lot Lyrics | 20 years ago |

It's literal. Jason Martin really does drive a lot. I think this quote pretty much explains it: "I work for my dad. I’m a truck driver." |
