I believe this song tells the flaws of the world we live in. I always try to pay such close attention to the hidden meanings behind Otep's lyrics. It tells of her thoughts and the terrible lies hidden behind the beautiful "truth". "Kneel down. Place your head between my thighs, and talk to God." I feel as if she is speaking the words of a priest. Priests are known to speak the truth and be pure, yet there are so many who are artificial. Just liars. The phrase tells how priests in the Catholic church are not what they seem, insinuating that this (one) priest is a pedophile. i don't know man.. it's always so confusing.. it's just life. |
