Robert Plant is the vocalist of Led Zeppelin. I don't think Zeppelin actually did this song..someone probably just thought it sounded almost kind of similar to Zeppelin so it must ahve been then.. This version was by The Animals. |

mandolinloser, you've got to be the coolest 13 year old I've ever met on the internet. Since we're on the topic of discussing our favorite rock bands (I like stuff from different genres but I'll keep it to this..so its semi-on topic :P), here's my favorites/opinions: My personal favorite is of course, Led Zeppelin. For much the same reasons as everyone here, but also because they weren't into self promotion, they didn't release singles or sell T-Shirts at their concerts, you heard about them by word of mouth. The Rolling Stones..Only band to play so good for soooooooooo long. Eric Clapton, ah..such a great guitarist..who doesn't love him? Robert Johnson: If you like Clapton and/or Page but don't like this guy you've got some issues.. I'm not big into the Beatles, but I will admit they were very influential, but only because they were so successful. I'm not even going to touch on Skynard for fear of starting another fire..There's also a lot more bands I like from ye old 60s/70s..but I'm tired of typing.. |
