xpankfrisst im think you were right i think alot of his songs are about Rose Coma white and Coma black seem to go together; Coma white: "There's something cold and blank behind her smile She's standing on an overpass In her miracle mile" in this section i think they were haveing problems and rose was trying to hide her displeasure behind a happy face the "overpass" was a desideing point for her and the "miracle mile" was just his way of saying her life was going ok at least in that mile of her life "You were from a perfect world A world that threw me away today Today to run away" here its like hes saying she is perfect and that he is not and he finally realized that and he didn't think that they would last Coma Black: "My mouth was a crib and it was growing lies I didn't know what love was on that day my heart's a tiny bloodclot I picked at it it never heals it never goes away" "I burned all the good things in The Eden Eye we were too dumb to run too dead to die" here hes saying that he was the one who ruined everything and they both knew it was over but they didn't want to let go but their feelings were gone "This was never my world you took the angel away I'd kill myself to make everybody pay This was never my world you took the angel away I'd kill myself to make everybody pay" here he is saying that he doesn't fit in and some of the things he does are not considerd "normal" and because he didn't conform to the image that our society considers normal she left him... so the "normal" world took rose away and he says that he would do anything to get her back and to get back at the world for taking her "I would have told her then she was the only thing that I could love in this dying world but the simple word "love" itself already died and went away " he finally relized how much he had loved her but after all they had been throught he lost faith in what he had felt "Her heart's bloodstained egg we didn't handle with care it's broken and bleeding and we can never repair" i couldn't narrow this part down to one interpritation so what i got from it was either that they didn't take care of their love and it just fell apart and they could not fix it or she was pregnant and something they did caused her to have a miscarrage and by the way shadowwiththeeyes good point about Philadelphia Eagles ~*~Jess~*~ |

It's another families turn to die. to me this line expresses the utter hopeless of the people it's a families turn to die like there is nothing they can do. they have given up the thing i believe makes us human, hope. every time i listen to this song my heart breaks for the people of kosovo and what they have endured |
