Glenn recorded the vocals on a porta studio recorder when he wrote the song, he didn´t feel he could replicate his performance in the studio so they used that recording for the final version as well. Thats what I heard at least. They cleaned it up some I guess but it still got alot of static, and if your speakers are good it can be somewhat distracting... |
