ohhhh, i think i get it. It's about a murder. The first verse is the victim, the second is the investigator, the third is the pathologist, the chorus is about a witness/defendant (being prepped for the court), the "dye infection black" is the victim in a morgue

This is going to sound a bit weird, but it sounds to me like a murderer just before he kills somebody. The victim realises that he has spent his life without getting anything out of it and as you're dieing (your life flashes before your eyes) you realise that the murderer is just looking out for himself and really as that is what everyone is doing whereas you were trying to be a good member of society. You realise that happiness comes to those who are selfish and you're/our represents his resent of the people who have been happy but not good. The song cuts out right as he dies. |

I think it's about people blindy rebelling and following the leader. "The crowd is up to Lenin" and "Reddened their necks" show it's about communism. "A handshake is worthy if it's all that you've got" and "with their noses worn off" are references to people idolising the figure and giving him gifts etc to try to get in his favour. |
