This a song created for GTA V. In the game, this song at one possible conclusion of the story line. Without going into too much detail, a character is killed - a character that is the source of stress and trouble for other characters gets killed ("anxiety, so one more in his eye, I can breathe". The character is, himself, a tortured soul, so the second verse looks at the same event - him being shot and killed - from his own perspective: "so one more in my eye, and now I can see". Nine I think refers to a 9mm glock (the vessel that kills the "he" in this song). |

| I believe this song is about performing cunnilingus. | |

| To say this is an "anti-war song" is to miss the point. It specifically refers to the fact that the "rich" were able to avoid going to war, while those without had no choice. This is a great song with a great message. | |

I haven't read much of the thought already posted, but here's my take. I think "baby" is usually thought of as a thing to which you would be attached, whether it be your own infant, or like you call your romantic partner, "baby." More or less, I think this is a commentary on being attached to something that is fake, or fabricated. Perhaps the fake thing you're attached to can provide the same things as the real thing for a while, but at the end of the day, it's fake. |
