Amen, Andaah. It's about a LIGHT. A SMALL, ELECTRICAL LIGHT. It's NOT a religious metaphor. The most that could be said the sould business is that the you should like the LIGHT. (Birdhouse in your soul; make room for it, etc etc. Whatever.) The "primitive ancestry" is a LIGHThouse. The SMALL LIGHT would be fired if it was a LIGHThouse, because it is too SMALL. (Hence, ships wouldn't see it and they would be wrecked.)
