In my personal opinion, imagine is the most powerful word ever created. It is infinite, and it isn't infinite. In my opinion this is the best song ever written. It came straight from John's heart and with this, you know that love and peace was all he had. For someone to write a song like this is amazing and I don't think anyone, especially today, could ever match it. RIP John, you're in our hearts forever. |

I think this song just means that you don't have control of everything that goes on in your life for example, the bills he has to pay, how his mom smokes or when his dog runs away. You just have to take things as they come becaue you can't change them so just love life and cope with everything that comes your way. |

This song means a lot to me. The shooting at Kent State is something that should've never happened and one of the most important days in American history. Sometimes I think this is a better protest song than Blowin in the Wind or For What It's Worth. It shows that the government wasn't only fighting a war in Vietnam, they were also fighting against the counter-culture in America. |
