Hey everyone. I heard a publicity radio show with Rihanna for her album and she actually said that Russian Roulette was recorded the night before Chris Brown attacked her (on the one very public instance we know about as the pictures were leaked). She said it was even a little ironic as it happened the next day, in fact she almost laughs about it but you can tell thats just a cover for her pain. Just wanted to give my two cents as everyone is saying its Definately about Chris Brown when as much as it relates, it wasn't actually written with that in mind. The meaning, i think, is about getting the guts and pulling yourself together and taking that leap of faith. You have to face tough decision in your life and you just need to take a breath and do it, even if it scares you. |

I am assuming its the american size 10 (which in the UK is a size 14) so i guess some of the comments Chris Brown made to her had been about her size saying she was fat or something? Thats how i interpret the meaning of it. |

He's rapping about things that he knows, like the buss pass and tk maxx. Its just random and funny! |

This is probably a kick up the butt to all their critics saying they are all about sex and saying they are whores. Its basically saying that they understand what relationships are about and they don't need them to survive. I love this song. and i love the group. i'm a straight girl and i think they represent a lot of what young women, like me, feel nowadays. They're showing that as a young woman you can demand what you want. We are living in 2006 after all. Girls have just as much power over their sexuality as men do. Its like you can make your demands on the guy and if he's too scared of a lil feminity then he's the one with the problem. People should stop calling the girl sluts and whores. People keep saying 'what kinda role models are they for our children'. somehow i don't think this music is for children, and the parents should censor their childrens choices. No one says anything about people like Nelly and P-diddy who feature semi naked girls in their videos, and sing just about sex. And those women are in the background being objectified by the guys. Its pathetic. Wake up people. These girls are in charge of themselves and their lives and everyone around them.... so deal with it! |

Like a true american u talk a lotta bull cr'p! Who cares where rock originated from. These are a good straight talking, literal british band. They sing about what they know, life experiences and stuff we can relate to... As an american you may not quite understand the tone in which the boys sing, they use irony and sarcasm a lot and talk about places people in britain would know the reputation of! So you mite not understand the songs.... I think this one is just about how some bands try to be bigger than themselves and pretend they are better than they are (sons of dork, fightstar etc) and how people just see thru it! End of! (that means the end!) |

I've seen the lead singer (can't remember his name) out shopping, he's pretty hot!!! They are a great band, one of the only good things to have come out of staines ever i think! Not entirely sure why everyone is bitching about this! Its just another hip hop/r'n'b tune thats good to dance to. Its not encouraging anyone to leave their partners or mocking people that are or have! I'm sorry if ur parents have broken up becos of another woman/man, or if you've broken up with sum1 becos of that, but how can u blame the song?! Its like saying Pete Doherty's songs influenced you to go buy crack so its his fault ur addicted, and now the songs mock u!? People have their own freewill as far as i'm concerned, you are responsible for your own actions, so stop blaming the PCD girls and blame the people who caused u hurt!!!
