He seems like a crazy sadist because he laughs as he kills her and enjoys her fear. And when she comes back she smiles as she murders him.
Doesn't seem like there's a lot of love in their relationship at the time of her murder. There's also a hint of insanity when you listen to the laughing, and then at points it's grave and he feels remorse. Or it could be some obsession type thing on his part and simply revenge on hers, and then his remorse.
It's a lot to consider and the song itself is pretty confusing. And I love it! |

The lyric is definately "Hang on to the glory at my right hand." I didn't think that's what it was, either, but after listening to the song a lot, I've just decided it's Claudio's odd accent on his words. I dunno. Same thing with the "Demon, play, Demon out" lyric. It's just hard to hear because of his crazy pronunciation. |
