I think this song is just about trains. Makes sense to me. "Notch 8" is the highest notch on a locomotives throttle. So saying "Take a break Driver 8, Driver 8 take a break" would be like saying: "Cut the throttle. We need to stop." Also with naming different objects like the telephone lines and the treehouse, would be like what you would see going by on a train. Same with what Roxxma said with the bells, I always look up when I hear a train bell.;-) |

to me this song sounds like current government powerand nuclear weapons "The sun is shining out of my hands" meaning we have the bombs and we are so tempted to launch them kinda thing. then: "it can burn, it can blind you" which to me just gives it away and then the countdown and at were ten would be its "aus" or out but i know it has a huge referance to boxing but when i first heard it, it sounded like a nuclear weapon type thing and also the US army and Air Force refer to the small nuclear bombs as "a taste of the sun" or something like that so the song being called "sun" i just noticed the simalarity |
