Well being Serbian I understand a good amount of Russian since the languages are very similar, as far as my german goes its very rusty so i couldn't provide a very accurate translation but that has already been covered here. Anyway droog is very similar to the serbian word drug and they are prnounced the same way. in Serbian drug means friend and that would certainly fit into the lyrics and its context in A clockwork orange. |

I'm pretty sure the song is about one of the guys becoming a hardcore straightedger, because well mr. clean works in two ways, most straightedgers shave their hair and also they're all about being pure/clean |

yeah this song is definetley great, a tribute to philly and everything good about it, also sean7711 is probably right cause here in philly the prep is one thing and thats St. Joes even if it is all the way up on the mean streets of North Philly. My favorite line is the one about the East or West River (Kelly Drive) cause when i hear that i can't help but think of riving down there countless times. philly is a great place that gets kind of a bad rep, oh well we love it. |
