This song has nothing to do about "emo" and him being sick of it. There's a crazy thing in the field of writing called metaphors and thats what he is using through out this song and most of his songs. He is comparing one thing with another. The song is about growing up and realizing in life you need to change. You can't be the kid you were in highscool/college. Kicking off the braces and start straightening out (metaphor) for leaving the kid in you and start growing up and being older. |

This song is about another girl he is with on a date/dinner. This song is about Kevin remembering a lost love. Going through pictures and memories of some one he lost who meant a great deal to him...He is depressed and drinking while remembering a love he lost. It's a lost love from a longer time in which he remembers parts of the girls, but the sad relization that he is forgetting her, and getting over her, which makes him upset. |
