| I recently saw an interview with the lead singer of Dexy and he said the song was about a girl he knew growing up. Yes her name was Eileen. He talked about how innocent their relationship was until they hit like 13 and then when sex came into the picture everything got really complicated. Whoever said the father son and holy ghost was jfk and whoever was wrong. in this song the trinity represents buddy holly, Ritchie vallens and the big bopper.
