yea i know this song is so wierd if ur on drugs. i took a hit of trips and it was like i was actually there. yea so hanger 18 is actually in oklahoma cus the ship crashed in roswell new mexico, but the bodies and ship wreckage were taken to a near by air base in oklahoma. its really wierd, i saw it on some channel, history i think. the shrooms don't lie man,it IS real!!!! |

yea it's a good tune. i didn't used to like the all american rejects, but when it first came out i was over my girl friend's house and she's like a Tyson Ritter freak!! (it kinda sucks for me) anyway she made me watch it and i kinda liked the song, but where the hell's the rest of the band? they get almost no credit. u know this is how a lot of great bands break up. haha "bestest", nice one terrilynn :p |

well dude maybe it is a little more shallow than we think. remember he says all the girls look for someone to hold onto, but they just pass through, and, though i can't satisfy all the needs she has and so she starts to wander
can you blame her. maybe the song is about a chick who leaves a dude because hes a "zero" and can't satisfy her, but then after she leaves, she realizes that the "zero" was really a "hero" and know she can't find anyone to hold on to.
Lots of weezer's songs are like this, remember "oh girlfriend" and "Buddy Holly". they're similar. "island in the sun" learly about a dude and his girlfriend having fun by themselves. many of their songs are about relationships. damn british people are kick ass a rock and roll. |

yeah like every one else says this song is completely about the level of sorrow that comes with breaking up with a love one. he say "after all the jacks are in their boxes and the clowns have all gone to bead" i think it means that after the beuty of a relationship is gone, you understand things better, because he says you can HEAR happiness staggering down the street, not see. so after the illusion of happiness is gone, you can experience the death of happiness(foot prins dressed in read) the king and quenn lyrics simply refers to something missing something which is necessary for it to live. think about it, a qheen isn't a queen without a king, and a king isn't a king without a queen. they're sad because they're both incomplete. if you notice the lyrice go from whisper, to cry, to scream, and then back to cry. the tension builds up after the reality of the situation starts to hit jimi as he sings it, but it dies off as he learns to cope. The song is about breaking up basically, but it sounds great on a straticastor! hope this helps guys. |

He says "fall mountains just don't fall on me" which means do what ever you want, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else. He says "walk on mr. business man, you can't dress like me" menas that only jimi can be jimi, and only you can be you. everyhting is subliminal, just listen and you'll understand. |

If you listen to thios song a couple of times you understand what it truly means. don't listen so much to the lyrics, but to the guitar. you can hear a lot of sounds of war, like bombs, and of course machine guns. it kindda tells a story of hendrix, and if you've aver seen the shows of hendrix at the filmor, it looks like the guitar is almost an extension of his body, it's great! |
