this album is probably the best album i have heard in a long time. finally there is a band out there that "gets it". bringing back the classic hard rock sounds of the 70s. such as bands like black sabbath, deep purple,and jethro tull. but what i dont get is how everybody doesnt hear the resemblance of cris ross and ken hensley of uriah heep organs skills that is what rock has been missing out on for the last 25 years. but other than that dont just get stuck on this song just cause they play it on the radio go out and buy the cd and listen to "where eagles have been", "joker and the thief", and "whitchcraft" |

this was ment to be a one cd project dedicated to the death of andrew wood of malfunkshun and mother love bone. the band members are stone gossard and jeff ament of pearl jam. and chris cornell and mat cameron of soundgarden. they got the name of the song from the mother love song 'man of golden words'. but the meaning of the song is obvious they are telling andrew wood to "say hello to heave" for them. |

the screaming that you hears 2 and a half mins. through the song is the singer he has the amazing talent of making a screaming noise come out of the back of his throat. it causes the illusion of a young girl being attacked. the manager killing the woman is just a myth. a way to sell records. i bought the cd not because of the myth but because there are many classic funk songs on it i suggest you listen to it. |
