there's not much to really say about this song. however, i'm not sure if i agree with the whole "God" thing. i'm guessing it's about God and some guy. she could be talking about both at the same time. i talked to paramore at cornerstone and i was confused because i did not know of their faith. they said they were all strong in their faith, but hayley had said that none of their songs are really about faith at all. maybe she meant the songs she had written around that time, or about all of the songs. who knows. |

brokenstar57 is exactly right. science is just opinions. we can't prove it's true or not true. however, we can prove that jesus was real and is the Christ. i'm not going to go into details, because this isn't the place for that. i think this song is about Christ dying because of these lines... what am I suppose to do you died and i'm here thinking that i hear your voice, but it's somebody else it's always somebody else i think he's commenting on how so many things in this world can sound so fulfilling and promising, but in reality they are just false lies. i don't exactly know for sure, but that's one of many things i thought about for that part. i do think it's all about God though. |

I don't think it is about heartbreak. Well, it can be, but not because of an earthly relationship. I think it's talking about how God did all these things for us, and we, because of our sinfulness, just continually sin against him and keep killing him over and over. The "I can revive him with my own two hands" part is signifying praying. |
