I don't think it's about a break-up alone, I mean it would make sense if it weren't for the: "Well your wake was pretty boring," and "Too much drinking, too much mourning." Especially the bit about the uncle makes me think it's a funeral 'cause he probably squished his ribs when he was giving his consolations. I really don't get who else he's singing about though..? In that aspect the breaking up thing mentioned above indeed makes a lot more sense. |
