This song is about Damian's friend, Timory, who died on her 23rd birthday. She was crouching next to a window when her friend came over to hug her and the two fell backwards through a third story window. Her friend was severely injured, but survived. Damian has a small tattoo of a 'T' inside a star on his arm, in her memory and also wears her ring on his little finger. OK Go's song 'Return' is also about Timory, and Ted Leo and the Pharmacists sing about her in their song 'Timorous Me' T's Song is from the album Appendices, which is a collection of songs Damian produced in college and is not available for purchase. |

You did a really good job on the lyrics, it's hard doing it by ear - I would just change a few things; "Now it's fine cousine" to "Now eats fine cousine" "As if you'd stand a single glare of one of us" sounds more like "As if you'd stay this single hell, oh, meant for one of us (bus?)" But that doesn't make much sence, and is pretty much driving my crazy. And "When singing to the door, now" to "We're singing to the dog, now" |

"Someday I'll burn this bed, only 2 feet wide" I don't think this means cremation- I think he's talking about his single bed. Single bed = alone, someday (when he's with the girl) he won't need it anymore, and can burn it. |
