I love how in the live version she changes the bridge to: Let this go I'll never let you go Instead of just repeating let this go. Great song. The song is definitely about being in a relationship with someone and drifting apart from them, for whatever reason. It's become such a habit that both people just go through the motions of the relationship, pretending like nothing's wrong. You still care about them, but you just can't stand being in the relationship any longer. Great song, great album. |

Yeah, I don't really think this song is about God. I always just saw this song as her coming to the realization that she's gone too long without taking any chances or going beyond the usual. So now she's going to start following her heart and actually living, even if it may hurt. I mean, it COULD be about religion, but I really don't see that being the real meaning. It just doesn't fit in with the theme of RIOT! |

OH MY GOD, I have fallen in love with this song...and the guitar in the "You were finished before we even saw the start" part...ohhh my. I really cannot wait for RIOT, but yeah, I have to agree with everyone else. It's about someone really letting you down. |

I'm going through the entire album for the first time right now, and this song is definitely one of my favorites already. I'll agree with everyone else here, he just wants to get some. It's a very sexy song, the lyrics remind me of On Top from Hot Fuss, but he sounds quite a bit more desperate in this one. |

I really have no idea what this song is about, but I'll just throw this out there. When I hear it, I always think just about how some guy is wanting this girl to take a chance on him. No matter what, though, this is probably my favorite Reggie song. It's just so upbeat and catchy. |

I love this song, and I've noticed that over the past few months, my view of it has changed completely. Before, when I listened to the song, I would always sympathsize with the male character, but recently, after a relationship that this song reminds me of, I find myself in the female's position. I love how songs can change their meanings as you mature. |
