| Coheed and Cambria – The Running Free Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I know this album will kick ass anyway... But when I was a little less of a Coheed fan and found out they were coming out with a new album (now GA,IBS4,VI:FFTtEoM) and heard Welcome Home on there site...I said to myself, "This is going to be epic." When I heard this, I said, "Well, I know the album will still kick ass, but it's not overly impressing." And always remember, there might be a Volume III and there has to be a first album. |

| Tsunami Bomb – Irish Boys Lyrics | 18 years ago |

She went into a pub. You don't pick up guys at a pub, they're dirty as f*** and are Irish. Pubs are usually Irish based, if I'm not mistaken. |

| Brand New – Nobody Moves Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
it reminds me of A Clockwork Orange or maybe even the Halocaust. I mean, maybe someone that wasn't as forcsive as the Nazi's were. Then again, I could also say the obvious and say it's about a robery that was done out of fear. |

| System of a Down – War? Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
There is probably no connection, but in the graphic novel WATCHMEN by Alan Moore, there is a part where this man named Ozymandias kills half the population of New York by this messed up monster thing. Blood, dead bodies, trash everywhere. There's a set of pages that show newspapers, all of them with the headline of "War?" Probably no connection. |

| Radiohead – There There. (The Boney King of Nowhere.) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
I always wanted to make my own music video for this song. it's a jungle feeling, which make some association with High School. It starts out with a kid getting ready for school, drowsy and just going through everything like it was a routine. Then it would go to the bus stop. He's dressed warm for the winter weather. Kind of a indie/emo clothing style. Navy jacket with semi-tight jeans, chucks, the whole shibang. He gets on the bus and sits down, listening to his iPod or mp3, watching everyone. The couple in front of him is making out, and he just sits there with a blank look on his face. [Around 1:17 of the song] Then he's in the hallway of his school, walking, and the camera is focusing on his point of view, he sees the girls wear short skirts and make-up pinned against the wall from their boyfriends. Then cuts to the principal talking to a student, and they are arguing about something. Then, cuts to him getting things out of his locker. Kids start running down the hallway; a fight just broke out. He looks over, and then gives an annoyed face and walks away to his next class. [Around 1:46 of the song] In his next class, he sits in the back of the classroom, and is answering a question a teacher asks the class. When the teacher writes the answer on board, back turned, he watches a ale student start feeling up a female student. Again, he gives that annoyed look. [Around 1:45 of the song] Then, cut to cafeteria, and the boy is paying for his lunch. The lunch lady turns around, and out of the corner of his eye, he sees students steal a bunch of snacks and stuff. He just turns away and pays for his stuff. Cuts to him eating his lunch, reading a book. He looks up and he notices a table of a bunch of kids messing around. He sees a kid pass a bag of some sort of drug to another kid. He goes back to reading his book. Then it cuts to him in gym class. He's running a mile, giving a decent effort, and he passes a bunch of girls that are walking, messing with their hair, talking about nonsense. Again he gives this annoyed look. [Around 2:45 of the song] Cuts to him walking home. He’s observing everything around him He sees a truck filled with football players and jocks and such speeding down the road. Again, he gives this annoyed look. [Around 3:15 of the song] Cuts to him at home, in his fathers office. He's staring at a drawer on the bottom right side and he has a serious look on his face. He opens it, and from a view inside looking out, you see the kid grinning. Cuts to the next morning, with him on the bus. Once again, the couple in front of him are making out, but he has the same grin he had when looking into the drawer. [Around 4:18 of the song] He's walking in thw hallways, same grin on his face. He looks at everybody with the same grin. He gets to his locker, puts some things away. He looks into his backpack, and from the same view of when he was looking into the drawer, he's starts laughing. He closes the backpack. [Around 5:00 of the song) He goes into the bathroom and puts his bag down to take a wiz. The camera focuses on the bag, slowly closing in on it. [When the final snare part comes in at the ending of the song] The kid reaches into the back pack and pulls out a gun. |

HOLY SHIT! This was supposed to be that United Nations song Geoff was talking about! The Blackout Pact (a band that had their record produced by Geoff Rickly) just realeased some of their old stuff because of their break up. One of the songs is a small clip called Untitled Thursday Track. The song has somewhat the same melody as this song, and has the same "la la la la, da da da" in it (except they changed it to "na na na na"). Check it out at www.myspace.com/theblackoutpact |

| The Fall of Troy – Tom Waits Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| At this one show, after they played this one song, Thom saw this guy hit a guy while crowd surfing, and he blew a gasket. He was all like "un-fucking-acceptable. we don't hit people. it's wrong." and then 5 seconds later, he goes, "Alright, this song is about hitting people, it's called Tom Waits." | |

| Slipknot – Vermilion Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| For the longest time, I had thought about it being about a monster in love. Picture like toughest motherfucker alive. No one expects him to have a heart, no soul, or any emotions. But suddenly he finds his one girl that can makes him feel something different, and he doesn't know how to act on it. The he goes through denial, blah blah, ect. ect. The opium addiction was a better theory. | |
| Thursday – The Other Side of the Crash/Over and Out (Of Control) Lyrics | 19 years ago |

| Thursday – The Lovesong Writer Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
I heard this interview on XM radio. It's about how he read this short story about the future and how he sopils everything. kinda like Kurt Vonnegut. Then one day, one of his characters of his stories comes to his front door and tells him that he didn't want to be created. Same idea with love song writers. It's about a guy who writes love songs and one day all of his characters come from his lyrics and tell him, "Gee thanks for making us, fuckhead. now we're all broken hearted, thanks to you." So in the song he describes the guy's mistakes. |

Hmm. Wel "Bulemia" may have to do with habit of somesort. And of course "Am i worshipping or am I tributing? Crumbling, ripping and failing." scares the shit out of me. I know it's like the main part and I may sound unoriginal, but the way Daryl scream makes me...I don't know... ThunderBoxx...Head Automatica is good, but don't advertise on glassJAw meanings. I think glassJAw is better because it brings outt he dog in this kid. |

| Coheed and Cambria – Always and Never Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
Claudio once said that most of his songs have double meanings. You can follow the concept, or go by your own means. My outlook for my own means: I believe the song is about how a child is just so beautiful. Like how a child is throughout his beginning. I mean, I can only relate my interpitation from two parts of the song, but this is the way I see it: Would you catch her if she ran?/Will you catch when I run: How children tend to run away, and you start to believe if you can really catch them. Stay with me and fall asleep. Pray to god for no bad dreams: How a child gets so scared from a dream or storm that they need to be with their parents. Other than that, no real connection. The "to kill all of you" fucked it up, though. |

Were you blitzed out of your fucking skull and had the munchies? A one armed scissor doesn't look like a pizza cutter. Pizza cutters have wheels on them. |

| Thursday – Autumn Leaves Revisited (Demo) Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
Sorry, I feel like a dick doing that. I had them for so long and wanted to put them up. On the side note, this song is about the father's daughter after he died in war. It's like she never knew her father. And she wants to be anywhere besides this hateful world. |
|
| Thursday – Autumn Leaves Revisited (Demo) Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
the leaves will fall and so will you when you do bury me under them, too seconds pass, I'll make it through eventually we'll all go home it wont be long (x2) I'll leave here for good. He's been waiting. Seven months left ‘til they bring home our baby. He swore he was paying for school. They shipped him over. Now he studders on the fine lines. He swore he would follow his conscience. The daughter only follows his orders instead. When he shoots, he sings a song. He doesn't know that she's been singing it too. it wont be long it wont be long till we find our way home We walk along the wall, tied between horizons you close your eyes like it's nothing at all Throughout the rise and fall everything, everything changes I will be here when you die Did you hear the trumpets play the day your father died? Did violins swell those circles under your eyes? Did you play the part straight like a march, or get lost in the beat, thinking and feeling? Did the drums in the street make the people dance? Or fall to their knees from the sound? Knock the leaves from the trees and fall from the branch; they were beautiful as they hung in the air spinning around did you follow me... spinning around. There must be somewhere that cigarettes burn through the night the leaves don’t abandon their trees to the light Where the skies always clear and the summer never ends wont you take me there? The leaves will fall and so will you when you do bury me under them too seconds pass, well make it through eventually, we all are going home ...and done |

| Thursday – The Equation Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
We were safe Now we're paralyzed Suspended in FLIGHT At this speed it makes no difference WHERE I START OR WHERE I END OR IF YOU'RE SITTING IN AN EMRGENCY AISLE We could be dead Complete the equation WHAT IS OUR X AND N? We have no value in these calculations Faced by the dead Point us straight down Traveling at... Five hundred feet per second Five thousand feet from the ground How long will it take us to hit? How fast will we start the disintegration? Don't LOOK NOW Just keep moving Don't stop NOW Just keep moving How FAST will it take us to hit? How LONG will we start the disintegration? We could be safe NOW, FOREVER. Floating in the clean blue air SOMEWHERE, between the sun that gives us light And the GROUND THAT PUTS it out An KNEEL in the aisles Press our hands together And close our eyes Speak these words so softly To the blackhawks and IT GOES: BEAUTIFUL LITTLE KELLY ?, I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR ALL THAT I |
