i dont agree. i think the guy in the song is in love with this girl, and she likes him too, but cant be with him because of something. if anybody watches one tree hill, the whole haley/chris/nathan triangle i think perfectly explains the song. she isnt really content with her life, and he's saying "aren't you glad im here?" but she cant be, because she "cant say what she wants....ect" so she cant tell him, she's stuck in her "unspecial/ "perfect" life. sorry....i can be kind of a downer |

i think i know where he's coming from...im experiencing something like this right now. he is in love with this girl and she treats him very badly. "keeping up appearances..." they are trying to act like everything is ok, even though its not. "everybody thinks your well" everyone can tell how badly he is getting eaten away at this, and just label him as "desperate". but she says she loves him, yet she continues to treat him like crap. she playing games with his heart and he lets her because he's in love with her....that's just what i get out of it anyway. |
