i think its about how she's with an older man. she already warns him in the beginning not to miss her "he'll have his lawyer come up from the city and arrest you mister so i wouldnt miss me if you get me, mister, see?" and then towards the second verse she kind of traps him in a way...."if you kiss me you must think im pretty, if you think so you must want to fuck, if yu fuck me it must mean you love me...if you love you would never leave me..." and then in the third verse he leaves her for a little while so she threatens him... then the fourth verse the guy doesnt add up to what she wants him to be..maybe because he left her...and then she's liek "take responsibility, im fragile, mister, just like any girl would be and so misunderstood..so treat me delicatly" and then she becomes fed up and throws him away in the penitentury ..... and tells him she'll visit if he says he misses her..but really him syaing that is really what got him there in teh first place... then there's the irony at the end where she says... "Will they ever let you go? I miss my mister so.." she's the one that put him in there but now she wants him back... |

i thought of a couple of diffrent thigns the first time i heard this song.. the first time i heard i thought there were two parts to her (jill and jack) jack was the part she wanted to get rid of but couldnt and then the part where she was like "in the halfway house of ill repute" i figured she was just in the looney bin or something...basically the first time i heard i pictured a girl. interrupted theme... "you'll notice something funny if you hang around here for too long" but yeah then the more i listened to it...i began thinking it had to do with her father. how hes the jack aprt and she really wants to get rid of him but cant...it could go either way..she could be a little crazy over the fact that her dad is a part of her and she doesnt want him to be.... |
