Alright. Here we go. This song does not have a meaning to it! One of Kurts childhood friends spray painted on a wall, "Kurt Cobain Smells Like Teen Spirit". For all of you that do not know, Teen Spirit is a type of womens deodarant in the states. This was spray painted because Kurt never wore deodarant, and he decided to write a song with the words, worldwidely know as, "Smells Like Teen Spirit". The lyrics have no real meaning, he just threw together something to create a song, that's all. |

You know what, you guys are all messed. Do you REALLY want to know what the song about? It's not really about anything. Kurt got the song name from a girl who spray painted "Kurt Cobain smells like teen spirit" on the side of a wall, and do you know what Teen Spirit is? It's a womens deodarant in the states. That's right. Kurt never wore deodarant, so someone made fun of him by spray painting that. Kurt merely thought of it as a joke, and wrote a pointless, and meaningless song about it. The title of the song has absolutely nothing to do with the lyrics. |
