I agree with violet085 and I am incredibly dissapointed in anyone who posted here that rob thomas "sold out". like i'm sure any other mb20 fan would be, i was shocked when i first heard this song, and yes, it is a lot more bouncy pop hip-hop than i would ever prefer, but just because he writes one song out of the traditional mb20 mold means you turn your back on him and call him a sell out? have you even heard the rest of the album? its the most diverse cd i've ever played and i think thats great. i think its amazing that he can hop into any genre and still produce amazing music. even if you dont like this one song, you cant deny that for a pop song, its very good. and the other songs on the cd (nothing like lonely no more) are a million times more amazing. also, for the person who wrote he's a "sell out for leaving mb20 to do his own thing", rob's not the only one from mb20 currently in a different musical direction. adam gaynor left the band completely, paul doucette made a solo album, and kyle cook is in another band. sorry this post is so long. Rob still writes amazing music- with or without mb20, rock/pop/alternative whatever genre it is, he's talented and fits right in. |

yea, i dont understand people calling this closest to the mb20 sound either. this sounds like mellow southern rock with some funk in it, i like it |

i can't find much in the song other than the literal story of people so close that they are there to lean on each other and know everything about each other from the good to the faults |
